Admissions

Narinukun International Programme is open to new students’ admissions for the 2017-2018 academic year from 18 to 24 February 2017. The admission is for Year 8 (M1), Year 10 (M3) and Year 11 (M4). Year 8 will study Cambridge Checkpoint level courses. Year 10 and Year 11 will study Cambridge IGCSE level courses and progress to study Cambridge AS Level in Year 12 and A Level in Year 13.

Required Qualifications

Year 8 (M1)

  • Having finished or finishing Prathomsuksa /Grade 6 or equivalent.
  • Possessing an overall GPA from Prathomsuksa 4 – 6 (5 terms) of 2.75.
  • Possessing a GPA for English from Prathomsuksa 5 – 6 of at least 2.75 (3 terms).
  • Being able to achieve an English Proficiency Test score of at least a CEFR A2 level.

Year 10 (M3)

  • Having finished or finishing Mathayomuksa 2 / Grade 8 or equivalent.
  • Possessing an overall GPA from Mathayomsuksa 1 – 2 (3 terms) of 2.75.
  • Possessing a GPA of English from Mathayomsuksa 1- 2 (3 terms) of at least 2.75.
  • Being able to achieve an English Proficiency Test score of at least a CEFR B1 level.

Year 11 (M4)

  • Having finished or finishing Mathayomuksa 3 / Grade 9 or equivalent.
  • Possessing an overall GPA from Mathayomsuksa 1 – 3 (5 terms) of 2.75.
  • Possessing a GPA of English from Mathayomsuksa 1 – 3 (5 terms) of at least 2.75.
  • Being able to achieve an English Proficiency Test score of at least a CEFR B2 level.

18 – 24 February 2017: Admission handbook and application form available.

20 – 24 February 2017: Submission of application form.

Required Documents

  1. Completed application form.
  2. A copy of the applicant’s ID Card or a copy of the applicant’s passport page.
  3. A copy of the applicant’s school certification or the applicant’s certificate of the class he/she has finished required by each year admission.
  4. Three 1.5-inch photos, taken no more than 3 months before the application form submission date.

Admission Criteria

  1. The applicant must submit the application form by himself/herself at Narinukun School.
  2. The applicant must pass the English Proficiency Test at the required level.

Announcement of Test Results

Year 8: 10 March 2017.

Year 10 and Year 11: 11 March 2017.

Enrollment of Successful Candidates

12 March 2017: 09.00am – 12.00pm.

Preparation Programme

27 March – 12 May 2017.

To prepare students to be ready for studying different subjects in English.

Please note that there are 2 terms per academic year.

 

Tuition Fees (per term)

Year 8 – Year 10: 50,000 baht.

Year 11 – Year 13: 55,000 bath.

 

Resource and Materials Fee (per term)

Year 8 – Year 13: 2,500 baht

 

Textbooks (per term)

Year 8 – Year 9: 2,500 baht

Year 10 – Year 11: 3,000 baht

Year 12 – Year 13: 4,000 baht

 

Preparation Programme

Duration: 6 weeks for new students

Year 8: 7,000 baht

Year 10: 9,000 baht

Note

Narinukun International Programme arranges extra-curricular activities for students in the Programme, both in-country and abroad; study and sightseeing trip at least once a term, and ONE study trip/short course abroad to provide students with direct experience living and studying in an English-speaking environment. The information about the activities and their actual expenses will be available at the time of the activities.
